Marcela earned her master's degree in social work from the University of Massachusetts Global. She also works as a social worker in a community clinic, providing case management services and support to diverse clients. With experience as a medical social worker, Marcela is skilled in navigating healthcare systems, coordinating care, and advocating for patients. Marcela also has crisis intervention experience from her work in a mental health urgent care center, where she assessed clients, collaborated with interdisciplinary teams, and implemented stabilization services for clients in crisis.
